Youth Voices 2021 - YMCA & VII Academy

In this mentorship-based program, teens interacted regularly with experienced photographers and storytellers to create impactful work, learn communication and presentation skills, and have fun. During weekly meetings young people looked at inspiring pictures (including their own) and worked toward creating this final public exhibition that represents their world and their vision. The program is about seeing with emotion and understanding, and making photographs that reflect their own personal voice and vision.
