The New Ecosystem of Collaboration – Collaborations for Cause

Communication professionals, content creators and context providers alike face a brave new world that is also populated by an increasingly savvy public. What classic considerations remain and what new issues must we learn to work with?

John Hoyt founded Pyramid Communications based on his belief that a company could be successful working only for good causes. Pyramid's mission attracted plenty of people committed to and passionate about those good causes. Two decades later, Pyramid is still committed to making the world a better place. Whether the issue is public policy decisions related to Alaska subsistence, childhood obesity, salmon recovery, or contract negotiation for labor clients, John thrives on crafting solutions to what sometimes appear to be unsolvable issues. His current and recent clients include the Washington State Opportunity Scholarship, KEXP, the Yakama Nation, the Seattle Art Museum, Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, the Sealaska Corporation, and Seattle Public Schools.
