What Is Home?
Based on the exhibition Finding Home, presented at Photoville 2017 by the Pulitzer Center & Time. Students will explore ideas of u201chomeu201d in connection to refugees worldwide and homelessness locally by looking closely at the images and text from Finding Home.nnLearning objectives: analyze text and images in order to synthesize information and reflect on the question u201cWhat is home?u201d; compare and contrast their ideas of home with the u201chomeu201d portrayed in the media in Finding Home; and evaluate and revise their ideas and connections to this topic by discussing the details in the text and images.nnThis lesson plan was created during United Photo Industriesu2019 2017 Education Day.
