Jared Moossy
Working often in difficult conflict situations, Jared Moossy has developed a practical approach to thinking about his profession. Jared Moossy is a photographer based in Austin, Texas. Jared graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York City in May of 2008. His professional career has mainly focused on the changing political and social landscapes of various countries and how conflict has shaped those landscapes. Jared is also a founding member of Razon Collective.
Jared has since taught at three Foundry Photojournalism Workshops. He has worked with and been published in Newsweek, Time, The Wall Street Journal, Stern Magazine, Conde Nast Traveler, Harper’s Magazine and several others. Recently Jared has also transitioned into film, applying his photographic style and voice to the moving image. His most notable role as Cinematographer was for the HBO, 4 part series, Witness; that originally aired in November 2012.
