In his recent project and exhibition, “The Memory of Our Skin,” photographer Pablo Unzueta (CatchLight Local Fellow, El Tecolote) explores Chile’s past and present, 50 years after the U.S.-backed coup that led to Pinochet’s brutal dictatorship. From the Chilean diaspora in California to shifting views on Pinochet in Chile today, Unzueta will reflect on family, history, and storytelling.
