Finding Trust – Annie Marie Musselman
Watch on VimeoAnnie Marie Musselman is a Seattle based documentary portrait photographer. She received her BFA at Principia College in 2006 after a photography apprenticeship in Marseilles, 2004. Her project “Wolf Haven” is a new chapter in an ongoing body of work documenting animals in sanctuaries. The project is set at Wolf Haven International in Tenino, WA. Wolf Haven was first commissioned by the Getty Images Grant For Good program in 2010. The project has been featured in PDN April 2014 Exposures (A Home in the Woods). Her initial project,”Finding Trust,” won first place in the 2006 Environmental Photography Invitational. She was also featured in the American Photography 22 Book; highlighted in PDN August 2008 (Annie and the Wild Animals); exhibited at the Downtown Seattle Public Library, PCNW; and a solo show at the Alice Austin House, in New York in spring 2009. The Finding Trust project was recently syndicated by Redux Pictures, NYC. Annie works for publications including National Geographic Adventure, Outside, Men’s Journal, Elle, The New York Times and Newsweek.
