Alicia Vera is a Mexican-American photographer based in Mexico City and Miami, Florida. Her work explores human connection and emotional depth through the lens of family, mental health, and contemporary culture, while seeking further understanding of herself and others' experiences in the process. She’s a member of Women Photograph and Diversify Photo. Her clients include National Geographic, The New York Times, HBO Max, Spotify, and Airbnb. Her first photo book, Va a Llover Toda La Noche (It’s Going to Rain All Night), was published in March by La Chancleta Voladora and has been acquired by The Library of Congress, The Getty Library, and Miami-Dade Public Library.
