Calibration is the first and most important step in achieving consistent and repeatable color and contrast. In this VII Insider talk, XRite Brand Ambassador, Brenda Hipsher, demystifies the process of calibration, showing how to make it a routine part of your digital post-production. Hipsher goes through some of the common misconceptions of color perception, and guides viewers through the best practices around calibrating a variety of common software and hardware products to optimally display hues and tones for digital image viewing, editing, and printing.

Hipsher is an X-Rite specialist and now conducts webinars and participates in initiatives to bring education to photographers and creatives on the topic of color management in digital photography and videography. She is the Brand Manager for X-Rite in North America for distribution partner MAC Group. She is in her 29th year at MAC Group and brings the full breadth of knowledge from her career in the industry to every event.
