Our first Continuing Education Series session of 2024 was on Photo Book as a Medium with Moritz Neumüller.

This lecture concentrated on the photobook as a medium, exploring the historical and theoretical aspects of photographic publications and artists’ books. In the lecture, we analyze and discuss aspects of editing, design, and display, with best practice examples. We learn about the book medium in general and photography’s different uses and functions within printed matter, such as fanzines, photo books, artists’ books, and mixed media formats.
